Certified Dental Assistant (Wilmington & Jacksonville)
The Dental Assistant is the link between the dentist and the patient, maintaining communication between them and the front office staff. They assist the dentist during treatment procedures and perform all permitted assisting duties.
At White and Johnson Pediatric Dentistry, the Dental Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the success of our organization. They have a significant impact on the patient experience and uphold the highest professional standards, demonstrating a commitment to our team and patients.
The Dental Assistant uses effective communication skills to promote self-confidence in patients and create a welcoming environment for their care. They anticipate the needs of the Dental Hygienist, Dentists, and other Team Members.
This position ensures patient care by maintaining supplies, sterilizing instruments, and providing access to required tools for the dentist. They also assist by selecting, mixing, and placing materials during procedures.
Preferred Experience:
Dental Assisting: 2 years (Required), Surgical: 1 year (Preferred), X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
